Two 6m x 18m Zappshelters were exactly what Ringway’s Dalton depot needed for aggregate storage. Based in Horsham, Ringway maintain over 50, 000 kilometres of the UK’s busy highways. Scheduled and unscheduled repairs and maintenance of this infrastructure network means that a supply of dry aggregate needs to be on hand at all times. Their Zappshelter complex, including precast concrete block walls, has enabled them to do just this.
We recently installed a shelter for Heidelberg Materials (previously called Hanson) – in Ardingly, Hayward Heath, to store their recycled asphalt product (RAP). The Zappshelter has helped the company save a huge amount of money and reduce their carbon footprint.
