1. How The Zappshelter Referral Program Works

A referrer is someone who wishes to share information about Zappshelter via a referral link. A referee is someone who receives that link from a referrer. Every referrer will receive their own unique referral link, which can be shared with anyone in conjunction with clause 6.3. The referee may then enquire with Paragon Protection Systems Ltd (hereafter referred to by the trading style “Zappshelter”). Once the referee purchases a product (limited to the Zappshelter 5000 and 3000 ranges), the referrer will receive a reward (stated in section 2.)

2. A Referral Is

A referral is verified as such once a referee has purchased and paid in full for a 3000 or 5000 product from Zappshelter. Only after a referral has passed this verification stage will the referrer receive their reward.

3. Rewards

The referrer will receive £500 per qualified referral, in one of the following formats:

  • To be sent to them directly via bank transfer.
  • To be donated to a charity of their choice from a list of accredited charities shown in clause 17.
  • To be sent by bank transfer to a business bank account or other such bonafide account as a contribution towards their organisation’s event fund.

Rewards will be granted per referral.

4. Issuing Of Rewards And Offers

The awarding of all and any such reward is entirely at the sole discretion of the Zappshelter management. They have the right to refuse the issuing of a reward if deemed necessary. All rewards will be transferred within 30 days of the referral being verified as per clause 2.

If no reward is claimed within 30 days of the sending of a confirmation of achieving a completed referral, then the reward will expire.

5. Privacy

All personal information collected and processed as part of this Referral Program will be used in accordance with Zappshelter’s Privacy Policy, available as https://www.zappshelter.com/privacy-policy/. Under the applicable laws and regulations, Zappshelter shall be responsible for collecting and processing such personal information.

6. General

6.1. These Referral Terms are published by Zappshelter. (“we”’, “us” and “our”). Our Referral Program as displayed on our Website www.zappshelter.com/referral-program-terms-and-conditions/ and these Terms form a binding agreement for both Referring Users (“you” or “your(s)”) and people who receive our referral invitation.

6.2. A “Referrer” or “Referring User” are those who participate in sending a unique referral link and/or code to another person, known as a “Referee”.

6.3. This Referral Program permits you to invite your contacts to participate in one or more Referral Program(s).

6.4. You may only invite personal friends, family members, acquaintances, workplace colleagues and contacts with whom you interact for legitimate business purposes to this Referral Program.

7. Completed Referrals and Limit

7.1. A Completed Referral is when a Referrer shares this Program to one of their contacts (a Referee) and, subsequently, that Referee completes a purchase which is not cancelled or disputed in accordance with section 4.

7.2. Whilst this Program is administered in good faith, abuse of the the Program will not be tolerated and Zappshelter reserves the right to limit to the number of Referrals by any one Referrer. Zappshelter reserves the right to limit the number of Referees who are eligible for the benefits of this Program.

7.3. No Referee can be an existing Zappshelter customer. Each Referee must be a new contact and have had no previous interaction with Zappshelter. This decision is at the sole discretion of the Zappshelter management team. Existing customers may not benefit from the Referral as Referees, although we welcome their participation as Referrers.

7.4. By participating in the Referral Program, you confirm that all personal information is accurate and up to date. We may monitor your use of the Referral Program or request proof of identity before issuing rewards.

8. Restrictions

8.1. This Program cannot be combined with other Zappshelter referral programs, discounts, vouchers, benefits or incentives. By participating in this Referral Program, we may restrict you from any other programs, discounts, or vouchers. This decision is at the sole discretion of the Zappshelter management team.

8.2. By participating in this Program, you confirm that you understand and agree not to use referral methods that are bothersome to the recipients, cause nuisance or distress to any potential Referee. Moreover, you accept that your participation in the Referral Program must not violate any applicable Scottish law, including but not limited to anti-spam legislation, including the mass distribution of unsolicited messages.

8.3. You must not publish this Referral Program on any website, intranet, directory or other platform that displays any form of Adult Content, Alcohol, Tobacco, Gambling, Games and Online Casinos, Political Content, or any form of illegal activity. We reserve the right to ask you to withdraw a publication containing information regarding this Program.

8.4. You must not at any time, invite or refer people who are unknown to you.

8.5. You must only use our Referral Program for personal use and refrain from its use for commercial purposes.

8.6. Only individuals may participate in the Referral Program – organisations may not.

8.7. You must be 18 years old or older to participate in the Referral Program.

8.8. You may not self-refer. Self-referral will lead to the termination of any existing Referrals or future Referrals.

9. Term and Termination

9.1. This Referral Program will run until the announced date and that date can be extended or restricted at the sole discretion of the Zappshelter management. We may also in our sole discretion notify Referrers that the Referral Program has ended with immediate effect. We are not obligated to give any prior warning to or reasons for the termination of the Referral Program.

9.2. Any referral made before the end of the Referral Program may still be valid. However, referrals may be excluded at the sole discretion of the Zappshelter management.

10. Exclusive Relationship

10.1. By participating in the Referral Program you understand and agree that you are only a user of Zappshelter’s services and/or products, and refrain from implying any other affiliation or legal relationship with us.

10.2. You understand and agree that you are not authorised to legally bind Zappshelter.

10.3. You must not create any materials that contain our branding, trademarks, or any part of our corporate identity.

10.4. By participating in the Referral Program you must not represent yourself as an agent, representative or intermediary of Zappshelter.

11. Privacy and Information

11.1. You undertake to respect the privacy rights of the individuals you invite to the Referral Program and direct to our website, should they request this.

11.2. When referring other people, you must always inform them about the applicable terms and conditions and privacy policy before they participate in the Referral Program, and leave their personal information.

12. Amendments

The terms and conditions of our Referral Program may be amended from time to time at the sole discretion of the Zappshelter management. We may offer and/or restrict additional incentives, benefits and programs. As a result, additional terms may apply. You agree that you are aware of those amended and additional terms.

13. Violations and Termination

13.1. In the event that we suspect any violations of these terms, fraud or unreasonable use of our Referral Program, we may, at the sole discretion of Zappshelter management, cancel the distribution of any discount, benefit or payout. Violations are covered in section 8.

13.2. If you are a current or former employee, contractor or affiliate of Zappshelter, we reserve the right to restrict your participation in the Referral Program, or cancel your participation with immediate effect.

13.3. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and refrain from violating any third party rights. These rights include any copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights.

14. Disclaimer and Indemnification

14.1. We disclaim our responsibility for any information that is incorrect or has errors. Participation in the referral program is solely your responsibility.

14.2. Our Referral Program is based on our best efforts and issued in good faith. You acknowledge and agree that we can never guarantee any benefit or result from participating.

14.3. You will defend, indemnify and hold any Referees harmless from and against all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, expenses and costs including reasonable legal fees, as a result of your participation in the Referral Program.

15. Correspondence, Disputes And Refunds

15.1. With regards to the distribution of discounts, vouchers, incentives, prizes, awards or other benefits, no correspondence will be entered into. Moreover, we have no obligation to respond to any complaint or accept any dispute about the Referral Program, and the abovementioned benefits. are provided “as is” and we never refund or exchange such benefits.

15.2. Any discounts, vouchers, incentives, prizes, awards or other benefits as a result of participation in the Referral Program are provided as per Clause 3 and cannot be exchanged for any other form of payment.

15.3. Zappshelter’s decisions regarding the distribution and payment of rewards are final and binding.

16. Applicable Law

Any dispute or claim that may arise out of these terms shall be settled in accordance with Scottish Law and heard in a Scottish Court.

By participating in this Referral Program, you will only have a legal relationship with Zappshelter. You represent that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by Zappshelter’s Terms and Conditions or Business and Privacy Policy.
