Preventing Air Pollution for Enva

Enva is a leading provider of recycling and resource recovery solutions, with locations across the United Kingdom and Ireland. Airborne pollution such as dust, odours and litter is a real challenge on waste and recycling sites. However, it can be greatly reduced if the waste is covered.

Enva has taken a responsible, proactive approach to this by erecting a Zappshelter over the point where their general waste conveyor terminates. So now, rather than dust being left to blow about, it is successfully contained in a covered precast block enclosure.

Zappshelter ‘Claire’ is a 10-metre wide x 12-metre long mounted on precast ‘Lego-style’ concrete blocks with a custom back wall.
