Instant Workshop Space for Cummins

Everyone knows the Cummins brand, especially if you’ve been involved in plant, generators or automotive. They are world-leading diesel engine and turbine manufacturers and their products have been found in trucks, heavy construction machinery, generators and boats since 1919.

Like the rest of the power generation industry, Cummins is looking at ways to become greener, and their engineers are actively developing hydrogen and electric technology right here in the UK.

Cummins utilise the services of CK4 who are specialists in commercial building refurbishments and facilities maintenance, and had a sudden increase in demand for more workshop space.

A 6 metre wide x 6 metre long Zappshelter mounted on standard ISO containers was quickly installed on site. In just a matter of days, the maintenance teams, their tools and machinery were protected from the weather.

In addition to our special no-foundations, no-disruption construction method, this particular Zappshelter comes with a partial strip curtain end wall which stops driving rain from getting inside but still allows forklifts and other vehicles to get undercover without any hassle.
