DS Smith doubles up

DS Smith are a leading provider of corrugated packaging with divisions covering recycling, paper and plastics. They are present in 37 countries, employing over 31,000 people, with roots that can be traced back to the box-making businesses started in the 1940s by the Smith family in East London.

Their Kemsley site was in needed covered fabric storage areas for their recycling operation, and we were pleased to install two Zappshelters mounted on precast concrete blocks, but it didn’t end there. To make this work efficiently for them, we needed to create a custom opening to allow access for a conveyor. Although such adaptions aren’t in the text book, they pose no problem to our amazing installation team, who did a perfect job.
