It’s no mean feat starting a business from scratch. The fact that we launched a product no one knew to a market that didn’t know it needed it emphasises the drive, determination and passion Craig has for Zappshelter, which runs through the whole team. Although we’ve grown over the years, he’s still very much involved in what’s happening.

Jake had only one objective as he came through his last year of school – to get out as fast as possible and join the fledgling business his dad had set up. As the business has grown, so have Jake’s responsibilities and, as our sales director, he provides management and direction for our dynamic and dedicated sales team.

With years of experience in the industrial sector, Richard has a vast network of contacts and is well acquainted with the way large organisations work. His ability to put himself in the customer’s shoes and grasp the challenges they face is second-to-none, which is why he is trusted source of advice and support across the industries we work with.

With an engineering family background, it’s no surprise that Stephen is one of our project consultants. With a natural ability to grasp exactly how to solve customer problems, he’s the go-to specialist for our clients in the construction, infrastructure and plant hire industries. He has overseen some of our best Zappshelter installations on huge projects like HS2.

Having built Zappshelters before he even left school meant Freddie was well suited to understand the on-site challenges customers face and present first-class solutions. As our project consultant for the waste, recycling and quarrying industries, he is a respected and trusted advisor to some of the biggest names in the aggregates and environmental sectors.

As a qualified bricklayer with many years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, Russell knows a thing or two about the difficulties our customers face on site. His role as a customer consultant is to make potential customers aware of Zappshelter products and how we can help them to protect what matters to them.

Anyone who makes contact with Zappshelter is likely to speak to Ash. His role is to listen carefully to a customer’s specific challenges and ask the right questions to come up with a proposal that overcomes those challenges. Once the solution has been agreed, he passes the client over to one of our project consultants to take it through to a conclusion.

Ongoing creativity lies at the core of any good business. Staying ahead of market trends and building strong brand awareness are two of Calvin’s priorities in his role as head of creative, but it doesn’t stop there. Although ensuring Zappshelter is the go-to name for high-quality shelters anywhere in the world is his number one priority.

Don’t let his laid-back approach fool you; Liam is a highly experienced and efficient operations manager with the day-to-day responsibility of ensuring that every Zappshelter project is delivered on time, within budget and to the complete satisfaction of our clients. This is no mean feat, and being calm under pressure is a life skill he has mastered.

What do you call someone who will do anything to ensure the smooth running of the business? “General manager” is as close as we can get, although Stav has the additional responsibility of being our chief happiness officer too. From negotiating with suppliers to ensuring customer satisfaction, his role is varied and no two days are the same.

Jim has been an invaluable asset over the years. He is a highly skilled CAD technician with the ability to translate a rough sketch into a perfect 3D render, enabling our clients to understand and appreciate exactly what their finished project will look like. His knowledge of the details of Zappshelter engineering means that he is a great support to the team.
